I’ve no accounting experience of my own and have been thinking of paying my accountant to come in each month and write up my books / accounts, of course this isn’t cheap, so I have been looking around for a another solution. I’ve discovered that bookkeepers are a potentially great assets. They are far cheaper than accoutants, and often more friendly ))
I’ve found a great lady who now comes in two days a week to help with admin and do all my accounting and the costs is very reasonable, she is happy with the arrangement as she is a single mum and needs the break from her kids plus the money. So the arrangement works very well for all concerned at the moment.
I can really recommend this as a solution to anyone else in that phase of business where they are too busy to any longer do everything themselves but not busy enough to justify full time staff.
